Design and Development of a Mobile Yield Monitor Simulator

The purpose of this study is to design and build a mobile yield monitor simulator. The yield monitor simulator is a simple, interactive piece of equipment that can be used for teaching and research purposes. In academic and outreach teaching, this equipment can demonstrate different components of the yield monitor and help the students to conduct diagnostic and calibration procedures. Using this equipment, researchers are able to simulate field conditions. It can also be used to as a research tool to evaluate the accuracy of different commercially available yield monitors.
