An Economic Analysis of Uniform and Variable Rate Fertilizer Application Methods

A Ph.D. student is comparing the performance of uniform and variable rate fertilization strategies for a hypothetical farm field. The analysis will shed light on the potential for improved economic performance with variable rate application. It will also allow assessment of the impact of grid size on the performance of the system. The study should be completed in early 2002.
